Where do you start? A wedding is something girls have dreamed about and played pretend with forever. However, have you ever actually tried to get started on planning a REAL wedding? Its a scary thought, so many details, so many people, how many people?, how much food?, where?, when?, colors?

This is where a wedding planner can help. The wedding planner is there to help put your vision into reality, through the small details. You want an under the sea theme with no sand and lots of octopi but mom and dad must sit at different tables underneath starfish? We can help.

So how do you get started on planning a wedding? Well I’ve looked around on the internet and the best checklist/timeline of what has to be done I found was at http://www.myweddingchecklist.net/wedding-timeline-checklist:

Hey so I’m starting this blog to help those who are interested, as I am, in planning weddings, and to have some fun and keep the world updated in my coolest ideas. Whether you want to plan your own or as have it as a career, wedding planning is a complicated and creative business.

I’m currently between my sophomore and junior year at Christopher Newport University in the business college as an accounting major. Some of you may wonder how an accounting major is going to run a creative business such as wedding planning. Let me explain. I have a head for numbers but I also love being creative. In this bad economy I know that I am going to need a steady job to get me through the first years as an entrepreneur sooo I’ll be an accountant until I can survive off of my wedding/event planning business. Thankfully the CNU business college offers a huge business core full of all the classes you need to do anything within a business so hopefully I’ll be all set when I eventually graduate.

In this blog I plan to discuss all of my “great” ideas for weddings as well as the tips I get from planners I run into and/or the class I intend to start soon!
Keep reading for more!!!!
